Six Natural Remedies for Dry Feet
How to care for dry feet? The skin of our feet is different. Unlike the skin on the rest of our body, it is dry, has no sebaceous glands, and is instead hydrated with hundreds of thousands of sweat glands. If the feet lack moisture, they can dry out and form cracks.
Depending on the severity of the drought, the feet may itch, forming red or scaly patches, peeling and bleeding.
Cracked feet are not only ugly but also an indication of a lack of nutrients and wrong habits. Hot showers, frequent foot washing with soap, low humidity in the home or at work, long sunbaths, and long-standing in one place are common causes of dehydration of the feet.
But also age and certain diseases can lead to a lack of moisture in the feet and the development of footprints. These include diabetes, eczema, psoriasis, and thyroid disorders.
Cracked feet should be treated as quickly as possible, as they increase the risk of infection and lead to severe pain in the long run. There are several ways to prevent the feet from drying out and provide the feet with enough moisture.
To properly treat dry feet, the primary cause should be sought and treated/eliminated. Often creams or ointments are used to care for chapped feet. However, a lot of these lotions are not suitable for dry feet as they contain alcohol and additionally dry out the skin. You should care for cracked feet with grease or oils.

After 10 minutes, gently rub the feet with a pumice stone and soak again in the Epsom salt bath for 10 minutes. Then thoroughly dry feet and cream with Vaseline or a moisturizer.
